Costume & Film work
Hoodwink Theatre Company, South Deep to Blood Alley |
October 2011-May 2012 |
My competition winning designs were chosen to be featured and used in Hoodwink Theatre Company’s site-specific performance South Deep to Blood Alley on Brownsea Island. I designed two peacock carnival costumes that were made by makers from the Arts University College in Bournemouth. I supervised and oversaw the making of the costumes from initial concept inception through to finished physical end product. I also made mask/headpieces for the peacock costumes.
Shakespeare på Gräsgården, As You Like It |
April 2011-July 2011 |
I was employed at ‘Shakespeare på Gräsgården’ as the company’s costume designer for their annual summer open-air performance in Sweden. I worked as a designer and maker, and had two assistant makers working with me. The play encompassed 50 costumes that we either made or sourced. I attended rehearsals, production meetings and worked as a dresser before and during the performances. The play received media coverage by all the major newspapers in Sweden.
